Libéré par le rythme: cérémonie chargée de mémoire et d’émotion

This collection was born as an open window into the soul of Puerto Rican culture—its rhythms, its memory, and its living traditions. Rooted in the powerful legacy of Bomba, these works capture the spirit of a people whose history is carried through movement, music, and collective expression.

Through painting and engraving, I seek to preserve and honor this cultural identity, documenting not only its past but its vibrant return to the present. Today, Bomba once again fills urban spaces with life—echoing through places like Tanca Alley in Old San Juan—where rhythm becomes ceremony, and dance becomes memory in motion.

This body of work is an invitation to witness, to feel, and to reconnect with a tradition that continues to rise, resilient and alive, in the heart of Puerto Rico.
